Abstract

The Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) is an information system that supports integrated information management and healthcare service delivery in hospitals. The success of SIMRS implementation is influenced by various factors, including human, organizational, and technological aspects. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the Human, Organization, and Technology aspects on the success of SIMRS implementation based on the Human–Organization–Technology Fit (HOT-Fit) model at Samaritan General Hospital Palu. This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design involving 146 SIMRS users selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Chi-Square test, and ordinal logistic regression. Most respondents assessed the Human aspect as moderate (42.5%), the Organization aspect as moderately supportive (36.3%), the Technology aspect as moderately good (40.4%), and the success of SIMRS implementation as moderately beneficial (38.4%). The results showed that the Human aspect (p = 0.010) and the Technology aspect (p = 0.033) had a significant influence on the success of SIMRS implementation, whereas the Organization aspect had no significant influence (p = 0.716). Simultaneously, the Human, Organization, and Technology aspects had a significant influence on the success of SIMRS implementation (p = 0.010). The Human aspect was identified as the most influential factor in the success of SIMRS implementation. In conclusion, the Human, Organization, and Technology aspects collectively influence the success of SIMRS implementation at Samaritan General Hospital Palu. Therefore, improving user competence and readiness, as well as enhancing system quality, information quality, and technical service support, is recommended to increase the benefits and overall success of SIMRS implementation.
